10/02/06: Just Can't Get Enough...

Best forex broker with low spread in Hong Kong.

Again, big thanks to both Vessels and Kimono for putting on a hell of a show last night at the Mixing Tin... was a really, really great night- so thanks to the bands, to the audience and to everyone involved! Was a classic night.
It's not easy, coming all the way from Berlin to play a show in a strange town, so big thanks to a very tired Kimono for a really great set!

04/02/06: Thank You, Friends...

Thanks for everyone who came along to see us and the other fine bands at last night's Tea Time Shuffle. Was an ace night, and if you'd like to re-create some of it, then come along to the Mixing Tin on the 9th Feb (that's this Thursday) to see us, the brilliant Vessels and the fantastic Kimono (flyer can be seen here).

01/02/06: Everything In It's Right Place...

Very nice words written about us have been spotted in The Fly and Sandman online. Thanks to Kate and Ruth for writing nice things. Friday's coming soon- get down to the Hi-Fi club for a most enjoyable evening with some of the finest Leeds bands around in the February installment of the Tea Time Shuffle.

28/01/06: Lie Detector Test...

We played a secret warm up gig last night, under the name The Death Monkeys of Jazz from Saturn down at CJ's in Headingly. Thanks to the three people who came to see us! It was a thoroughly enjoyable gig, so thanks to everyone and all the other bands for a cracking night. That means the next gig we play is the Tea Time Shuffle next Friday (3rd Feb) which is going to be brilliant. If you need a ticket for the event, get in touch and we can sort you one out.

19/01/06: Smile Around The Face...

We are pleased to announce that we shall be playing with Icelanders Kimono at The Mixing Tin in Leeds on Thursday 9th February (flyer here). It's a week after our first appearance at a Tea Time Shuffle, which begins at 6pm and also features some of our favourite bands- All My Friends Are Dead, Vib Gyor, Vessels and Gazelle. Both gigs should prove to be brilliant nights.

18/01/06: The Sun Always Shines On TV...

A hectic few days have resulted in a few more gigs for your listening pleasure. We're currently working on one or two more, and updates will be posted on here.
We're also recording some drum tracks this Friday, so hopefully, some new songs will emerge sometime soon. Just sit tight, it'll be well worth the wait.

12/01/06: My Delusions...

Argh. Just when it was all looking so good... The Primrose gig is off too. Sorry for all of this, it's down to a communication breakdown. These things happen... We're hoping to sort something else out before we play the Tea Time Shuffle on the 3rd Feb. We shall keep you posted.

10/01/06: Save Your Day...

Good news! The cancelled gig at the Cardigan Arms has now been re-scheduled for the 22nd Jan at The Primrose in Hyde Park, Leeds. Hope to see you all there!
Also, up on our MySpace page, there is a brand new demo for the song 'Ethereal' which we hope you all enjoy. It's in a very basic form, just Jamie and Gavin, but when our new EP comes out, it'll feature the full version, complete with everyone else involved in it.

09/01/06: History Repeating...

Bad news I'm afraid. The gig at the Cardigan Arms has been cancelled, which takes the next gig up to the Tea Time Shuffle one on 3rd Feb. We're trying to sort another gig for around that time, and of course, we shall let you know as things happen.

03/01/06: The Night You Can't Remember...

Happy '06 to everyone, and big thanks for all who attended the end of year bash at the Love Apple on Friday, was great fun, and a good time was had by all.
Looking forward to 2006 now, which should hold some great things for us. Not only will we have some new music which we will share with you all this year, but we shall also be playing a lot more gigs too.

26/12/05: Everybody Here Wants You...

Merry Christmas/ Boxing Day to everyone, hope it was fun. Of course, coming up very soon is 2006, rearing it's ugly head, but with it brings good things in the Poindexter camp. For a start, we'll have new recordings, lots more gigs, and hopefully, big massive record contracts being thrown at us, but we shall see...
Time for another quick plug... 30th December plays host to us and This Et Al at the Love Apple in Bradford. Doors open at 9pm, we play at 10, This Et Al on at 11, and a DJ till 4am. Should be cool (flyer and more details here).
See you in 2006!

17/12/05: Clap Hands...

A big thanks to all who came to Leeds on the Bone II last night, was an absolutely ace gig. Next one is in Bradford, at the Love Apple with the mighty This Et Al (flyer here). Hello to everyone we met too, was very hectic, but ultimately excellent.
After the Bradford gig, we have one gig in January, on the 21st at the Cardigan Arms, and one in February, playing the Tea Time Shuffle on the 3rd. We're taking a bit of a break from live playing to get some songs recorded you see, so expect us to be in every venue in West Yorkshire once we've done it!

13/12/05: Day Five...

Thanks to all who turned up to the anual Johnny Poindexter Christmas party at Andy & Tom's on Saturday night, was a good night. Also, you may have noticed some new pictures on the site. They're up at our MySpace page too, the first promo shots of us with the actual line-up, didn't take us long did it?!
Friday at the Packhorse should prove to be an excellent night, as along with us, you have the aural delights of Unexploded Shells, Ten Seconds of Chaos, Future Sons of Rome and Monster Killed By Laser.
Rock.

30/11/05: Off The Record...

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but we've been busy at our rehearsal space in Leeds, running through songs old and new.
Also, in the new issue of Vibrations, the Leeds based fanzine, there's an interview with us, so go and investigate. If you can't get a copy of the magazine, then the interview is also for you to read here.
The Packhorse gig is getting closer, and we're hoping to debut at least one new song, but more news on that later. It's very hush-hush.
