Thanks for everyone who came along to see us and the other fine bands at last night's Tea Time Shuffle. 28/01/06: Lie Detector Test...
We played a secret warm up gig last night, under the name The Death Monkeys of Jazz from Saturn down at CJ's in Headingly. Thanks to the three people who came to see us! It was a thoroughly enjoyable gig, so thanks to everyone and all the other bands for a cracking night. That means the next gig we play is the Tea Time Shuffle next Friday (3rd Feb) which is going to be brilliant. If you need a ticket for the event, get in touch and we can sort you one out.
19/01/06: Smile Around The Face...
We are pleased to announce that we shall be playing with Icelanders Kimono at The Mixing Tin in Leeds on Thursday 9th February (flyer here). It's a week after our first appearance at a Tea Time Shuffle, which begins at 6pm and also features some of our favourite bands- All My Friends Are Dead, Vib Gyor, Vessels and Gazelle. Both gigs should prove to be brilliant nights.

Argh. Just when it was all looking so good... The Primrose gig is off too. Sorry for all of this, it's down to a communication breakdown. These things happen... We're hoping to sort something else out before we play the Tea Time Shuffle on the 3rd Feb. We shall keep you posted.

22nd Jan at The Primrose in Hyde Park, Leeds. Hope to see you all there!

I'm afraid. The gig at the Cardigan Arms has been cancelled, which takes
the next gig up to the Tea Time Shuffle one on 3rd Feb. We're trying to
sort another gig for around that time, and of course, we shall let you
know as things happen.

Boxing Day to everyone, hope it was fun. Of course, coming up very soon
is 2006, rearing it's ugly head, but with it brings good things in the
Poindexter camp. For a start, we'll have new recordings, lots more gigs,
and hopefully, big massive record contracts being thrown at us, but we

all who turned up to the anual Johnny Poindexter Christmas party at Andy
& Tom's on Saturday night, was a good night. Also, you may have noticed
some new pictures on the site. They're up at our MySpace
page too, the first promo shots of us with the actual line-up, didn't
take us long did it?!
